Married with 2 grown up children, I have lived in Eastbourne for the past 10 years. I was born in Sussex and moved to London to work, so it was good to come back home.
I love walking along our fabulous beaches and on the Downs.
Taking time to enjoy life and try new things, I have recently discovered yoga!
From 1981 to 2018 I worked at ITV beginning as a graduate trainee and going on to become Director of Technical Operations.
During that time, in 2000 I enrolled on The Hoffman Process, a course in Sussex exploring personal identity and development.
From there I went on to study at the Institute of Psychosynthesis from 2000 - 2006, leading to a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
Whilst in full time employment, I could not commit to a full time practice with clients, but since my retirement from ITV, I have been able to dedicate myself to building my practice here in Eastbourne.
QUALIFICATIONS & ACCREDITATIONS
I have a diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling from the Institute of Psychosynthesis in London and am a member of UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy), and work under clinical supervision to ensure I continue to provide the highest quality of care.
The purpose of clinical supervision is to provide a safe and confidential environment for therapists to reflect on and discuss their work and their personal and professional responses to their work. The focus is on supporting therapists in their personal and professional development and in reflecting on their practice.
