what is Psychosynthesis

Psychosynthesis is a psychology of hope, with its eye not only on history, but also on a purposeful future giving individuals the capacity to reorient their lives in the direction of meaning and values.

Psychosynthesis is also a psychology of the self, acknowledging that the human experience is at the same time spiritual, emotional, physical and behavioural in its nature. Each of these aspects are deeply connected and need to come into harmony in order for us to understand ourselves better.

Personal crises and difficulties and the inevitable resonance with past wounding will often spark a desire to explore the psychological and relational worlds more deeply and with greater purpose.

Working within a Psychosynthesis framework the focus will concurrently be on what might be unfolding at the level of soul, spirit and Self that these opportunities bring. Holding open the often unexpected creative possibilities inherent in what ‘may yet be’ or what is attempting to make itself known – The Self.
